Huffman Electrical Systems was founded in 2002 by Matthew Huffman in Harrisonburg, VA.After being first employed in the electrical field in 1993, he went on to receive a Virginia State Journeyman Electrical license in 2000 and a Master's license in 2002. In addition to standard electrical training and apprenticeship he also holds an Associate degree in Electronics from Blue Ridge Community College and a certificate from Massanutten Technical Center in electronics technology. In 2008 Huffman Electrical moved into their new home and shop building located in southwestern Augusta county.

Huffman Electrical Systems, Inc. serves both residential and light commercial customers in the Harrisonburg and Staunton areas of Virginia's Shenandoah Valley and surrounding counties from Winchester to Lexington to Charlottesville.
